Tamim Fares started his legal career focusing on Intellectual Property by virtue of the fact that he worked as a 3D Artist, so he knows what does Intellectual Property mean, and how important “copyright” is, in term of intellectual rights protection. The 3D Design and Graphic Design still as a hobby for Tamim, however, it gave him a deeper perspective into the essential meanings of intellectual property and let him understand the challenges that faces the clients whoever they are: artists, authors, brand owners, programmers and traders etc.
Tamim Fares started “Tamim Fares IP Consultancy & Services” to provide the quality of service and the excellence to clients that seeking for the protection of their IP rights. Prior to that, he was an associate in a law firm in Damascus, Syria.
Tamim Fares admitted to practice in 2007. Tamim has experience in a wide range of intellectual property subjects, including: Portfolio Management, IP strategy, Dispute Resolution and Litigation.
Tamim handles the portfolios and brand protection projects for a number of companies locally in Syria and regionally in the Middle-East, Europe and America.
In addition to that, Tamim also advises clients on branding, advertising and marketing.
